S’Mores, Bangsar South

We bought: 1 dining voucher from Groupon for a large pork platter (feeds up to 8 persons) & 4 Tiger beers for RM 130.

We got: 1 pork platter enough to comfortably feed 6 hungry mouths & requested to swap the beers to fruit juice.

We say: The food and the company was worth the horrendous jam all of us had to battle to get to the restaurant.

Where: The Sphere – Bangsar South
Unit G2, Jalan Kerinchi,
59200 Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia. (Reservations: 03- 2240 0069)

Drinks. Everyone drinking healthy tonight. Pineapple, orange, lime & watermelon.

The porky platter. Includes German sausages, roast pork, ribs, potatoes & salad. That’s quite a lot of pig.

Another angle of the pork platter. It was H-U-G-E.

Capital Nasi Dagang Kelantan, Damansara Uptown

President is in town so we met up for a Kelantan-style breakfast.

We had:  Nasi kahwin ikan tongkol, nasi dagang curry chicken, milo ais, teh tarik & kopi o.

President asked for extra sambal 😀

Where: Capital Nasi Dagang Kelantan
29 Jalan 21/1A
Damansara Uptown

20130820-102405.jpgNasi dagang curry chicken with extra sambal on the side.

20130820-102415.jpgNasi kahwin ikan tongkol.

In case anyone is wondering, nasi kahwin is just a combo of white rice & the red-grained nasi dagang that makes the Kelantan-style nasi dagang stand out from the Terengganu version. I’m a hard-core Kelantanese at heart, I always go for the red-grain version 😛

Asia Cafe, SS15

Impromptu supper session at Asia Cafe, SS15.

We had: 1 teh tarik, 1 watermelon juice (how come the juice cup doesn’t have Asia Cafe words on it???), some Chinese dumplings, and a lot of stories to go with the food and drinks 😀

I now smell of ikan bakar, or whatever it was that was frying all night long there..:))
